Around the Block Fabric & Quilt Shop offers over 1,000 bolts of high quality, 100% cotton quilting fabrics in a wide variety of styles, colors, and patterns. We carry florals, 1930s and 1800s reproduction fabrics, kids and baby prints (including flannels), geometrics, conversationals, batiks, homespun flannels, retro & vintage prints, and more! Our fabrics come from manufacturers such as Hoffman, Moda, P&B Textiles, In the Beginning, Marcus Brothers, Free Spirit, Clothworks, Windham, Princess Mirah, Benartex, Maywood, Loralie, and Kamla, just to name a few!

Books & Patterns
We strive to carry the latest books and patterns, plus a few of those old standards that never seem to go out of fashion. We also pride ourselves in carrying books & patterns from up & coming designers whose work you won't find in just any quilt shop. We know you want to create beautiful quilts that look like they took years but were really completed in just hours. Our goal is to offer our customers books and patterns that not only contain instructions for a making a specific quilt, but also provide inspiration and techniques for future projects.

Notions
Having the right tools makes any job easier, and quilting is no exception. Around the Block offers high quality rotary cutters & mats, marking tools, scissors, pins, rulers... anything we can to make your quilting projects easier and more enjoyable. If you are having trouble finding what you need, please let us know. We are happy to special order items for you.

Services
In addition to our fabrics, books, patterns, and notions, Around the Block offers a variety of other services. Our classroom and three sewing machines are availabe for customer use during store hours. We print color or black and white photos on fabric for $6.00 per sheet - just e-mail or bring your photo to the store and tell us how large to make it!
